So tell me....how can we afford to treat chronic disease when the diseases we suffer from are caused by corrupt food, environment, and corporate/government policies?

Soda, fast food, lack of exercise......parental neglect caused by the demands on parents time to support their families. All due to corrupt government policies and the fleecing of America.

Aside from what GOZO mentioned (all of which I agree with, by the way), I also believe that more kids today are sick because they're raised in nearly sterile environments, so their immune systems never develop properly. Back when I was young, we didn't have black lights to check every room for invisible germs. We didn't have air purifiers and steam cleaners and didn't vacuum every day because we were scared of dust (it's different if you have legitimate allergies to dust, obviously). We didn't wipe down every surface in our home several times a day with Lysol and bleach. We didn't carry antibacterial hand gel with us everywhere.
My grandmother said that you had to eat 7 pounds of dirt a year to be healthy. She was really onto something there.

Absolutely....unfortunately, because our children tend to be indoors all day, they lack sufficient Vitamin-D.....the disease buster. We have forgotten how healing the sun can be .....
