Pull Rosiglitazone, FDA Reviewers Urge: The drugmaker should have warned patients and the FDA about its concerns, but instead "intimidated independent physicians, focused on strategies to minimize findings that rosiglitazone may increase cardiovascular risk, and sought ways to downplay findings that the rival drug ACTOS (pioglitazone) might reduce cardiovascular risk," the senators wrote in a letter to FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg.
In a response published on its Web site, GSK rejected the report and said the report is inconsistent with "rigorous scientific evidence supporting the safety of the drug." LOL and more LOL....

Of course they will deny it, they are hiding behind the greenbacks and protection of their bed buddies, the FDA and any other branch of the Government that are all hypocrites.
Look at all the commercials for this type of FDA sponsored propaganda. Look at all the side effects and how they are all downplayed.
The people who follow this BS deserve any problems that stem from these criminals and their quackery. If they are not smart enough to seek out natural health solutions they deserve any poisons being spewed from "pseudoscience."

Not to get off topic but: There is a lot of talk in the natural health industry about the bills before congress to make herbs and vegetables "standardized" which will make them less potent vegetables will not be allowed to be grown that have potent nutrients in them. Monsanto wants to own the dna of all farm products including farm animals it is scary...
