More like, "Why would anyone consume salad, at all?"
I have been saying for years that lettuce tastes like @!$%# and now I have proof. Thanks. :)

Where is irrigation water from?.....maybe "treated" sewer water????
I have seen fields irrigated from sewer water treatment plants in this area....the water is supposed to be "pure" but smells like where it came from....YUCK!

My mom has half the fridge filled with bagged salad, and the stuff just looks gross. It's all wilted, the colors are dull, and it feels slimey and soggy. What's weird is that when she makes her salads, she spends about ten minutes adding all this stuff to it. If you're gonna add all this stuff, why not just make the entire salad from scratch?
I won't even feed the stuff to my guinea pigs. It's nasty.
