All this due to not using proper procedures and equipment in extracting the oil. Existing procedures and equipment. Lack of real regulation and inspection. How much cheaper would that have been? Not just in dollars.

Heard that bp and mms were aware of the giant gas bubble before they drilled...a massive experiment approved by our government without regard to any life. Now that they have breached the never ending supply...why not concentrate in the gulf as our petroleum source and stop drilling off the Cal coast. Cal is pretty much done with this BS.

We, on the Central Coast, have become aware of the massive decline in wildlife and distressed behavior. The only explanation for this holocaust is toxic substances emitted by oil co's. They admit they use corexit in the Pacific.

That, I did not know. I was referring to the potential safety of shallower drilling, and strengthened regulation.

We should designate the Gulf...because obviously we just tapped into the womb of endless gas and oil. Then we can maintain the Pacific and other body's of water for wildlife and safe food. It's like....... we s— — t in the toilet not all over the house.
